Three NBA clubs announced roster and business moves over the weekend, highlighted by knee surgery for Philadelphia 76ers rookie forward Johni Broome, a waiver in Minnesota and a ticket-price decision in Dallas.

76ers

The 76ers said Saturday that Broome underwent a partial meniscectomy to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee. The operation follows an injury sustained last weekend while the 23-year-old was playing for the G League’s Delaware Blue Coats. Selected 35th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft out of Auburn, Broome has appeared in 11 NBA games and averaged 21.8 points and 8.4 rebounds across 26 G League contests. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Timberwolves

Minnesota waived two-way guard Jules Bernard, clearing a two-way roster slot before Wednesday’s signing deadline. Bernard, who signed his deal earlier in the week, will receive the remainder of his prorated two-way salary. The 24-year-old averaged 22.6 points and 6.6 rebounds this season with the Iowa Wolves in the G League.

Mavericks

During Thursday’s broadcast, Dallas Mavericks CEO Rick Welts said team governor Patrick Dumont has decided not to raise ticket prices for the 2026-27 season. According to Welts, Dumont told club staff, “We didn’t deliver this year. We’re not going to raise one ticket price.” Welts added that the move has been well received internally and externally.

The announcements leave Philadelphia monitoring Broome’s recovery, Minnesota looking to fill an open two-way spot, and Dallas opting for price stability after a disappointing campaign.
