The Charlotte Hornets expect forwards Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate to return Tuesday in Chicago after serving four-game suspensions tied to a Feb. 9 altercation with the Detroit Pistons.

Their absence opened extra minutes for Grant Williams and Ryan Kalkbrenner, a development head coach Charles Lee said benefited the roster. “I’m really proud of the guys that stepped up in their absence and gave us some really big minutes,” Lee told reporters, according to Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer.

Guard Coby White, acquired at the trade deadline, has yet to suit up for Charlotte while recovering from a left calf strain. Lee said White has advanced to contact drills and could make his Hornets debut against the Bulls—his former team of six-plus seasons—if daily evaluations remain positive.

Rookie Kon Knueppel had an unexpected off-court moment over the weekend, discovering that former Duke teammate Cooper Flagg spent roughly $7,000 on a batch of Knueppel trading cards. “I didn’t realize cards were doing what they’re doing now,” Knueppel said.
