LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Lakers ruled Luka Doncic out of Thursday’s home game against the Dallas Mavericks as the guard continues to recover from a strained hamstring, the club announced Wednesday.
The injury will keep Doncic, 26, off the court for a fourth straight outing. Sources told ESPN he is progressing in rehabilitation and hopes to suit up for the World Team in Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game.
The six-time All-Star led all players in fan voting for the first time this season, collecting more than 3 million ballots. Since being traded to Los Angeles last year, Doncic has gone 4-0 versus his former team.
The Slovenian star has missed 11 games overall in 2025-26, with the Lakers posting a 5-6 record during those absences.
