Owner Joe Lacob and general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. are said to be aligned on one clear mandate: every player on the roster is available except Stephen Curry. If no agreement materializes this week, Golden State reportedly plans to keep its assets intact and revisit talks during the offseason.
Bucks Still Listening
Milwaukee has not dismissed the Warriors’ most recent proposal, sources told Siegel. General manager Jon Horst and his front office are described as intrigued by the volume of future draft capital Golden State can offer. Even so, the Bucks are expected to wait until the final 24 hours before the deadline to make any definitive move.
Impact on Kuminga and Other Targets
Should Antetokounmpo remain in Milwaukee through the end of the season, the likelihood of Jonathan Kuminga being dealt this week diminishes. The Warriors hold a sizable team option on the forward for the 2026-27 season, making him a potential centerpiece in summer discussions.
Golden State has also checked on Michael Porter Jr. of the Denver Nuggets and Trey Murphy III of the New Orleans Pelicans, though neither pursuit is viewed as imminent.
