The Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers have finalized a trade that moves guard Vit Krejci to Portland in exchange for center Duop Reath and two future second-round draft selections, the teams announced.

Atlanta reacquires its own 2027 second-round pick and receives the New York Knicks’ 2030 second-rounder, both of which had been under Portland’s control, according to The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer.

Reath recently underwent season-ending foot surgery, and league sources anticipate he will be waived to clear a roster spot. Salary-cap analyst Yossi Gozlan added that center NFaly Dante, out for the season with a torn ACL, could also be a candidate for release as Atlanta evaluates its roster.

The Hawks made Krejci available after acquiring forward Corey Kispert, using the deal to regain draft capital and increase roster flexibility.

For Portland, the 6-foot-8 Krejci addresses an immediate need. He is shooting better than 42 percent from three-point range and arrives on a team-friendly contract with extension eligibility this summer. The Trail Blazers enter the day ranked last in the NBA in three-point percentage.

Veteran NBA reporter Marc Stein noted that Portland remains aggressive in the trade market and intends to convert two-way players Caleb Love and Sidy Cissoko to standard contracts after the Feb. 5 deadline.
