Donovan Mitchell poured in 45 points on Monday night to lift the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 114-98 victory over the Orlando Magic at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, securing the club’s fourth consecutive win and its second straight over Orlando.

The All-Star guard scored 26 before halftime, erasing an early 10-point deficit and spearheading a 39-24 second quarter that sent Cleveland to the locker room with a 59-54 edge. From there, the Cavaliers (28-20) controlled the pace, committing only eight turnovers after six in the game’s first 10 minutes, winning the rebound battle 45-42 and knocking down better than 40 percent of their three-point attempts.

Mitchell closed the night with a flurry, repeatedly slicing through Orlando’s defense to maintain a comfortable margin. Evan Mobley added 20 points, nine rebounds and two blocks, while rookie Jaylon Tyson—recently selected for the 2026 Rising Stars Game—contributed 14 points, seven boards and four assists on 5-of-9 shooting.

Orlando (23-22) was paced by Paolo Banchero’s 37 points and 10 rebounds, but the Magic could not keep up after Cleveland’s decisive second-quarter surge.

Having now won 11 of their last 15 contests, the Cavaliers will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
