MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The NBA postponed Sunday’s game between the Denver Nuggets and the Memphis Grizzlies because a powerful winter storm blanketed the region, disrupting travel and safety conditions.
League officials said the matchup will be rescheduled at a later date. No new date has been announced.
The same weather system is affecting other NBA travel plans. The Dallas Mavericks were unable to depart for Milwaukee on Saturday night ahead of their 7 p.m. ET game Sunday against the Bucks. As of early Sunday afternoon, the Mavericks remained in Dallas and expected to reach Milwaukee by midafternoon.
