Tony Snell, a nine-year NBA veteran, has signed with Boulazac Basket Dordogne of France’s LNB Élite, the club announced. It is the 33-year-old wing’s first move to Europe after appearing in 601 NBA regular-season games and averaging 6.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 39.4% from three-point range.
Head coach Alexandre Menard said Snell will bring “his love for the game and thirst for victory” to a roster that earned promotion to France’s top league by finishing first in LNB Pro B last season. Snell last played in the NBA with New Orleans in 2021/22 and spent the past three seasons in the G League with the Maine Celtics and Sioux Falls Skyforce. He also appeared in two FIBA AmeriCup qualifiers for Team USA last fall.
