The Atlanta Hawks have reached a deal with center Malik Williams on a two-way contract, according to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk. The agreement was struck on December 23, 2025.

Williams, 27, has spent the season with the Hawks’ G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. Over 14 appearances, the 6-11 big man has averaged 16.2 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 27.4 minutes per game.

The former Louisville standout saw brief NBA action in 2023-24, appearing in seven games for the Toronto Raptors after signing two 10-day contracts. He returned to the G League afterward, suiting up for the Sioux Falls Skyforce before joining College Park this fall.

Atlanta has been hit hard by front-court injuries. Two-way forwards Jacob Toppin (shoulder surgery) and Eli Ndiaye (upcoming shoulder surgery) are out for the year, while center N’Faly Dante sustained a torn ACL and starting center Kristaps Porziņģis is sidelined by illness. Toppin was waived last week, leaving an open two-way slot that Williams will now fill.

Under current two-way rules, Williams can be active for up to 32 NBA games this season.
