The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a six-year drought in Philadelphia on Sunday night, edging the 76ers 112-108 to close their three-game road swing with a victory.

LeBron James and Luka Doncic returned to the lineup and led the charge. James, still working his way back after a bout with sciatica, delivered his best outing of the season with 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes. The 39-year-old shot 13-for-17 from the field and 4-for-6 from three-point range, adding one steal and one block.

Doncic, who missed the previous two contests while in Slovenia for the birth of his second child, recorded his second triple-double of the year. The guard finished with a game-high 31 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists while hitting 9 of 24 attempts.

The supporting cast also contributed. Deandre Ayton posted a perfect 7-for-7 shooting night on his way to 14 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Austin Reaves scored 11 points despite a 3-for-16 line from the floor, helping Los Angeles overcome its shooting struggles late.

The win lifts the Lakers to 17-6 overall and 10-3 on the road after splitting the first two games of the trip. It marks the franchise’s first victory at Wells Fargo Center since December 2017.
