Dec. 2, 2025 — Denver center Nikola Jokic and Detroit guard Cade Cunningham have been selected as the NBA’s Players of the Month for October and November, the league announced on Tuesday.

Western Conference: Nikola Jokic

The honor is the ninth of Jokic’s 11-year career. The reigning MVP contender opened the season averaging 28.9 points, 12.4 rebounds and 10.9 assists while guiding the Nuggets to a 14-5 start. Efficiency was another highlight: the two-time MVP shot 63.7 percent from the field and 45.3 percent beyond the arc.

Other Western nominees included Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder), Luka Doncic (Lakers), James Harden (Clippers), Alperen Sengun (Rockets), Deni Avdija (Trail Blazers), Austin Reaves (Lakers) and Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves).

Eastern Conference: Cade Cunningham

Cunningham captured the award for the first time after powering Detroit to a 16-4 record, the conference’s best through six weeks. Over 17 games, the third-year guard averaged 28.8 points, 9.4 assists and 6.4 rebounds in 36.8 minutes, shooting 45.6 percent from the floor and 81.5 percent at the foul line.

The field of Eastern candidates also featured Scottie Barnes (Raptors), Jaylen Brown (Celtics), Josh Giddey (Bulls), Jalen Johnson (Hawks), Tyrese Maxey (76ers), Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers), Norman Powell (Heat), Franz Wagner (Magic) and Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.
