The Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls enter Monday’s schedule dealing with significant lineup questions caused by injuries and illnesses.
Pacers Lean on Pascal Siakam
With Tyrese Haliburton sidelined, newly acquired forward Pascal Siakam has become Indiana’s primary catalyst. He has scored 24 points in each of the last two games, helping the Pacers secure weekend wins over Washington and Chicago and double their season total to four victories. Indiana opened the year 2-16 after last season’s Finals appearance.
“You can’t take it for granted,” Siakam told the Indianapolis Star. “Every single possession, every single run, every single win—we’ve got to take it and enjoy it. We’re tired of losing. We can’t keep losing. That has to be our mindset.”
Cavaliers Short-Handed in Indianapolis
Cleveland visits the Pacers tonight without a large portion of its roster. Darius Garland (toe management) and Lonzo Ball (illness) were added to the injury list and will join Larry Nance Jr., Max Strus, Jarrett Allen and Sam Merrill on the sideline.
Bulls List Coby White as Doubtful
Chicago may once again be without guard Coby White, who is considered doubtful because of left-calf tightness and congestion, according to CHSN. White has appeared in only five games but is averaging 24 points and six assists when available.
The Bulls have already ruled out Noa Essengue, Jalen Smith and Isaac Okoro, while Zach Collins is also doubtful.
