Chris Chiozza Heads to Turkey; Devontae Cacok Signs in Spain, Kenneth Faried on Virtus Bologna’s Radar

ISTANBUL — Free-agent point guard Chris Chiozza has agreed to join Turkish club Karşıyaka Basket for the 2025-26 campaign, the team announced on Instagram.
The 29-year-old guard went undrafted out of Florida in 2018 and split his first four professional seasons between the NBA and G League under several two-way contracts. He logged 91 NBA appearances with the Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors, last suiting up for Golden State in 2021-22. Chiozza has spent the past three years overseas, most recently with Manisa Basket in Turkey’s Basketball Super League.
Devontae Cacok Lands One-Year Deal in Spain
Former NBA forward Devontae Cacok has signed a one-year contract with UCAM Murcia of Spain’s Liga ACB, according to Sportando. The 27-year-old played parts of three NBA seasons for the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs from 2019 to 2022 before stints in Russia and Italy. Virtus Bologna released him in November after a knee injury, but reports indicate he is now fully recovered.
Virtus Bologna Targets Kenneth Faried
Virtus Bologna is eyeing free-agent forward Kenneth Faried, La Prealpina reported via Sportando. The 35-year-old averaged 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds across eight NBA seasons and has since competed in the G League, China, Russia, Italy and Puerto Rico.
