Las Vegas — Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo are signaling they want to leave last week’s practice-floor altercation behind them, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Charania reported there is currently no NBA investigation into the incident, and Herro is not seeking legal action. “There is belief to be surveillance footage to be reviewed, but at this point no investigation from the NBA,” Charania said, adding that both players “want to move on from this situation.”

The confrontation occurred inside a practice facility at a Las Vegas hotel while league officials and team personnel were in town for Summer League. Multiple outlets said Adebayo confronted Herro about social-media posts allegedly made from a burner account that criticized the Miami Heat center. The dispute became physical before others intervened.

Neither the Heat nor the Milwaukee Bucks have commented publicly.

Herro, traded to Milwaukee earlier in the offseason in the deal that landed Giannis Antetokounmpo with the Bucks, has spoken favorably about his four seasons in Miami despite the abrupt exit. “I appreciate Miami,” he told reporters, noting he would consider finishing his career there if circumstances align. He also said his children will continue attending school in South Florida.
