The Los Angeles Lakers have reached an agreement with undrafted guard Robert McCray V on an Exhibit 10 deal, reporter Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express said on Twitter.
McCray, a 6-foot-4 senior who spent the 2025-26 season at Florida State after two years with Jacksonville, averaged 16.3 points, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals. He finished third in the ACC in assists and 11th in scoring, earning a place on the All-ACC Third Team.
The athletic guard owns a 43-inch maximum vertical leap and has hit 34.8% of his career three-point attempts. ESPN draft analyst Jeremy Woo listed him No. 90 on his final big board.
The Exhibit 10 clause allows Los Angeles to convert the contract to a two-way before the regular season. If the Lakers waive McCray, he could still receive a bonus of up to $91,000 by spending at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate, the Coachella Valley Lakers.
