Six first-round selections from the 2026 NBA Draft officially signed their rookie scale contracts on Wednesday, the first day of the league’s new calendar. The signings position the newcomers to join team practices this week and suit up in the Salt Lake City and California Classic Summer Leagues ahead of the Las Vegas showcase.

- Darryn Peterson, Utah Jazz – First-year salary: $13.2 million; four-year total: $59.9 million
- Darius Acuff Jr., Sacramento Kings – First-year salary: $8 million; four-year total: $36.5 million
- Yaxel Lendeborg, Golden State Warriors – First-year salary: $6.1 million; four-year total: $28.1 million
- Zuby Ejiofor, Atlanta Hawks – First-year salary: $3.5 million; four-year total: $17.3 million
- Alex Karaban, Sacramento Kings – First-year salary: $2.9 million; four-year total: $15.1 million
- Koa Peat, Phoenix Suns – First-year salary: $2.9 million; four-year total: $15 million
All six agreements are based on 120 percent of the rookie scale, the standard maximum allowed for first-round picks. Additional signings are expected in the coming days as teams finalize their summer-league rosters.
