The New York Knicks pushed the Cleveland Cavaliers to the brink of elimination on Saturday night, recording a 121-108 victory at Rocket Arena to take a commanding 3–0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 30 points and dictated the pace whenever the visitors needed stability. Mikal Bridges added 22 points, and OG Anunoby contributed 21 as New York maintained control from start to finish.

The Knicks opened the game with a 9-1 burst and never trailed. Cleveland briefly tied the contest at 50 late in the second quarter, but New York answered with another surge and stretched the margin for good during a decisive third period.

“They were the more physical team, they were the much better team,” Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson said.

Evan Mobley paced Cleveland with 24 points and six rebounds. Donovan Mitchell, listed as dealing with routine “bumps and bruises” before tip-off, finished with 23 points on 9-for-21 shooting. Jarrett Allen supplied 17 points and seven rebounds, while James Harden had 19 points, five rebounds, five assists, and five turnovers for a Cavaliers offense that struggled to find rhythm.

The Knicks exploited Cleveland’s transition defense throughout the night, repeatedly capitalizing on quick outlets and second-chance opportunities. The Cavaliers’ difficulties guarding Jalen Brunson in pick-and-roll situations persisted, and over-helping off Josh Hart produced additional open looks for New York.

No NBA team has ever recovered from a 3–0 deficit in a best-of-seven series. Despite that history, Mitchell remained focused on the immediate task. “Don’t lose Game 1 when you’re up 22. That’s the one thing I would say,” the All-Star guard remarked. “But hey, that’s where we are. It’s on us. We have an opportunity to get Game 4, and go from there.”

Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
