Five prospects have been elevated from last weekend’s G League Elite Camp in Chicago to the main NBA Draft Combine, which begins this week in the same city, according to DraftExpress and the NBA G League.

Aaron Nkrumah, a 6’6” guard/forward from Tennessee State, secured his spot after a strong showing at the Elite Camp. The Ohio Valley Conference’s 2025-26 Player of the Year averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.8 steals while shooting 43.8% from the field, 35.1% from three and 78.9% at the line in 33 games. Nkrumah, a senior who was added to the Elite Camp roster at the last minute after being left out of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, helped the Tigers reach the NCAA tournament as a No. 15 seed, where they fell to No. 2 seed Iowa State in the opening round.

The other call-ups are:

  • Jacob Cofie, sophomore forward, USC (early entrant)
  • Trey Kaufman-Renn, senior big man, Purdue (Portsmouth participant)
  • Rafael Castro, senior forward/center, George Washington (Portsmouth participant)
  • Bryce Hopkins, senior forward, St. John’s

Nkrumah, Cofie, Kaufman-Renn, Castro and Hopkins are the only players from the Elite Camp to receive invitations to the main combine.

Other standouts at the Elite Camp included Keba Keita (BYU), Noam Yaacov (Israel/Oostende) and Jaden Henley (Grand Canyon), who impressed during scrimmages but were not selected for promotion.
