Los Angeles — Australian NBL wing Malique Lewis will meet with the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, wrapping up a six-team workout slate ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft, according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.

The 6’8” prospect, listed No. 66 on ESPN’s big board, previously auditioned for the Suns, Mavericks, Timberwolves, Celtics and Cavaliers. His surge in interest follows a standout showing at June’s adidas EuroCamp, which helped him secure multiple NBA invitations. Soon after the camp, the league’s fitness-to-play panel cleared Lewis, overturning a heart-related restriction that had barred him from the G League Combine.

Lewis spent the past two seasons in Australia after averaging 9.0 points and 6.0 rebounds on 37.7% shooting for the Mexico City Capitanes during the 2023/24 G League campaign. With a 7’1” wingspan, he has drawn notice for his defensive versatility throughout the pre-draft process.

Family Drives Dybantsa’s Rise

Projected top pick AJ Dybantsa credited his father, Ace Dybantsa, for guiding his development, he told the Deseret News. The younger Dybantsa said his father serves as his “full-time manager” and travels worldwide with him, while Ace noted that he and his wife plan to relocate to whichever city drafts their son.

Spurs Hold Four Picks, Eye Options

San Antonio does not own a lottery selection but controls picks Nos. 20, 35, 42 and 44, giving the club flexibility to stand pat or trade up. SpursTalk’s LJ Ellis identified Karim Lopez, Chris Cenac Jr. and Allen Graves as potential fits at No. 20.

Hollinger Releases Top-75 Board

In The Athletic, John Hollinger ranked Duke forward Cameron Boozer as the draft’s top prospect and placed North Carolina’s Caleb Wilson in his first tier. Hollinger noted the class lacks a clear Victor Wembanyama-level talent and argued that, after the first 15 selections, no player matches Graves’ unique attributes—though he cautioned that Graves’ range of outcomes remains wide.
