Damion Lee Heads to Israel, Joins Ironi Ness Ziona

Free-agent guard Damion Lee has reached an agreement to play for Ironi Ness Ziona of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, according to a post by Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic on X (formerly Twitter).
Lee, 32, entered the NBA in 2017 and spent the past two seasons with the Phoenix Suns. He appeared in 25 games for Phoenix in 2024-25 after logging 74 contests the previous year. From 2018 to 2022 he played four seasons with the Golden State Warriors.
The veteran missed the entire 2023-24 campaign while recovering from a knee injury. Phoenix brought him back on a one-year, veteran-minimum contract last July, but his role was limited; he logged double-digit minutes in only three games this past season.
Over 315 regular-season NBA games, the Louisville product has averaged 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 19.6 minutes.
