The Cleveland Cavaliers protected home court again on Monday night, defeating the Toronto Raptors 115-105 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to secure a 2-0 advantage in their first-round playoff matchup.

Guard Donovan Mitchell paced Cleveland with 30 points, while James Harden added 28. Forward Evan Mobley contributed 25 points and eight rebounds as the Cavaliers answered every Raptors push to keep control of the contest.

Toronto trimmed the margin several times, but each rally was met by a Cavaliers run. Cleveland finished with just 12 turnovers and converted 22 Raptor miscues into points, reversing an area that is typically a Toronto strength.

On the defensive end, the Cavaliers limited a key Raptors scorer to only seven points on 3-for-15 shooting, capping a difficult stretch of six straight subpar quarters for the Toronto standout.

Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at Scotiabank Arena, where the Raptors will try to avoid a 3-0 deficit.
