Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee Bucks have elected not to issue a $8.77 million qualifying offer to forward Ousmane Dieng, allowing the 23-year-old to enter unrestricted free agency.
Despite pulling the offer, the Bucks remain interested in negotiating a new contract with the former No. 11 overall pick, according to HoopsHype. Dieng averaged 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 26.8 minutes over 30 games (20 starts) after arriving from Oklahoma City in February.
Other Qualifying-Offer Moves
Brooklyn Nets — Brooklyn declined an identical $8.77 million qualifying offer for swingman Ochai Agbaji, the No. 14 pick in the 2022 draft, and also opted against a $3 million offer for forward Jalen Wilson. Both players will become unrestricted free agents after finishing the season in reserve roles with the Nets.
Miami Heat — Reigning Slam Dunk Contest champion Keshad Johnson did not receive a qualifying offer and will test the open market. The 6-foot-6 forward has been invited to join Miami’s Summer League roster and could still return on a two-way contract.
Orlando Magic — Center Colin Castleton was tendered a two-way qualifying offer, making him a restricted free agent. Castleton appeared in four games for Orlando last season and is entering his final year of two-way eligibility after stints with four other teams from 2023-25.
Dallas Mavericks — The Mavericks extended a qualifying offer that would keep center Moussa Cisse on a one-year, two-way deal. Cisse averaged 4.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 13.9 minutes across 38 games in 2025-26.
Teams have until the start of free agency to finalize their qualifying-offer decisions, which determine whether players become restricted or unrestricted free agents.
