Tyrese Maxey, Myra Gordon Welcome Daughter Marvel

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey and former college basketball player Myra Gordon have welcomed their first child, a daughter named Marvel.
Gordon announced the birth on Instagram on Wednesday, noting that Marvel was born on May 14. The couple had revealed in November that they were expecting. Gordon also shared a photo of herself, Maxey, and their newborn in an Instagram Story.
Marvel is the first child for both parents. Gordon played collegiately at the University of Alabama before transferring to Pepperdine University.
Maxey is coming off a standout 2025-26 NBA season in which he set career highs with 28.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game.
