The guidance specifies that sports-betting participants must be 21 or older in most states, while the minimum age is 18 in the District of Columbia, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico, and Wyoming. Wagers are void in Ontario, and additional eligibility restrictions apply.
ESPN notes that wagers placed through its partner, DraftKings, are subject to the operator’s terms at draftkings.com/sportsbook. Bets are offered “on behalf of Boot Hill Casino” in Kansas, and a pass-through tax could apply to wagers made in Illinois.
