Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. became the target of a doxxing incident after restarting his personal podcast, the team said Saturday.
The breach occurred shortly after the 27-year-old released a new episode this week, marking his first return to the microphone in months. According to the Nets, private information belonging to Porter — including a home address and phone number — was posted online without permission.
The organization did not specify how the data was obtained or identify the platform where it appeared. Team officials said they are working with league security and law enforcement to investigate.
Porter has not issued a public statement. The Nets urged fans to respect the player’s privacy while the inquiry continues.
