New York Knicks swingman Josh Hart said Monday he would welcome a reprise of the long-range challenge the Philadelphia 76ers used against him two years ago, when the club repeatedly left him open behind the arc.
“If they want to do it again, I’m all for it,” Hart told reporters, recalling how he capitalized on the strategy during that earlier postseason meeting. The veteran noted he “aced” the test in 2024 and remains confident in his perimeter shooting should Philadelphia repeat the tactic.
Hart and the Knicks are preparing for another playoff matchup with the 76ers later this week. The forward said New York’s game plan will not change if Philadelphia decides to sag off him on the perimeter. “I’ll take the shots,” he said. “Same approach as before.”
