Kendrick Perkins to Oversee Jackson State Men’s Basketball as General Manager

Jackson, Miss. — Kendrick Perkins has agreed to become the general manager of the Jackson State University men’s basketball program.
The school and Perkins reached an agreement on an undisclosed date. Specific contract details were not released.
Perkins, a former NBA player and current television analyst, will take on administrative and roster-building responsibilities for the Tigers. Jackson State did not announce when he is expected to begin his new role.
