Dusty May, who currently guides the University of Michigan men’s basketball program, is in advanced discussions to become the next head coach of the Mavericks, sources told ESPN.
The parties are finalizing contract details, and an official announcement is expected once terms are completed, the sources said. Financial figures and the length of the prospective deal have not been disclosed.
Neither the Mavericks nor the University of Michigan has publicly commented on the negotiations.
