Chicago is set to add three-time Slam Dunk Contest winner Mac McClung, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto. The 26-year-old guard has agreed to a contract expected to be an Exhibit 10, giving the Bulls the option to convert him to a G League slot with a bonus of up to $85,300 if he spends at least 60 days with the Windy City Bulls.

McClung appeared in six NBA games across four clubs since 2021 and spent last season on a two-way deal with Orlando. While he logged only 10 NBA minutes, he averaged 23.0 points, 5.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds on 48 percent shooting for the Osceola Magic, earning All-G League First Team recognition.

Clippers add front-court depth with Collins

John Collins said Los Angeles had been on his mind since trade rumors first surfaced, and now the forward is officially a Clipper. Head coach Tyronn Lue told The Athletic that pairing Collins with Kawhi Leonard will cause matchup problems, citing the 26-year-old’s two-way versatility. Collins is expected to log minutes at both power forward and center alongside Leonard and James Harden.

Knicks keep extension dialogue open

The Knicks have touched base with center Mitchell Robinson about a possible extension, but talks remain preliminary, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported. Robinson has ranked among the league’s top rim protectors when healthy, and New York intends to monitor his workload after recent injuries.

Windhorst also noted there is no immediate push to negotiate a new deal with Karl-Anthony Towns. The All-Star big man is extension-eligible yet remains under contract for at least two more seasons with a player option afterward.
