Rockets, Pelicans Clash in Heated Preseason Altercation

Players from the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Pelicans became entangled in a heated on-court confrontation during an NBA preseason game on Oct. 14, 2025, according to multiple eyewitness accounts.
The altercation briefly halted play as members from both rosters exchanged shoves and words before coaches, officials and teammates moved in to separate the sides. Order was restored after several tense moments.
No injuries were immediately reported, and the league had not announced any disciplinary decisions at the time of publication.
