Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray exited Friday’s preseason matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers after injuring his left thumb late in the second quarter.
The 25-year-old, who is entering his fourth NBA season and can sign a rookie-scale extension until October 20, was ruled out for the second half. Before leaving, Murray recorded nine points, five rebounds and one steal in 16 minutes of play.
The team has not yet indicated whether the injury will sideline him beyond Friday’s contest.
