For the third consecutive season, LeBron James will open the NBA campaign as the league’s senior statesman. The Los Angeles Lakers forward, born on December 30, 1984, turns 41 later this year.
James is no longer the only 40-something in uniform. Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), who celebrated his 40th birthday on May 6, ranks as the second-oldest active player, while Kyle Lowry (Philadelphia 76ers) will reach the milestone on March 25.
