Smith’s energy, rebounding and floor-spacing ability make him an appealing trade candidate, but it remains unclear whether Chicago is open to dealing him or what return the Bulls would demand.
If trading proves too costly, Ward added that veteran big man Nick Richards could surface as a free-agent alternative for Los Angeles.
Grizzlies
