The Cleveland Cavaliers remain among the teams pursuing veteran guard-forward DeMar DeRozan, according to Hoops Wire.
The report states that Cleveland continues to track the six-time All-Star’s free-agency status as the market unfolds. DeRozan, 34, hit unrestricted free agency after completing a three-year stint with the Chicago Bulls, where he averaged 24.0 points, 5.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds last season.
Following a 48-34 finish and a second-round playoff exit, the Cavaliers are evaluating options to bolster their wing scoring and playmaking. While multiple clubs are believed to have interest, no details on potential contract figures or timelines have surfaced.
