Audacy has signed a deal that will place 42 of its radio stations on SiriusXM beginning Sept. 1, expanding the satellite broadcaster’s slate of local programming.
The agreement makes every station available through the SiriusXM app, while nine sports outlets—including Cleveland’s 92.3 The Fan and New York’s WFAN—will also be accessible on SiriusXM’s in-car service.
Stations joining the in-car lineup are:
- Cleveland – 92.3 The Fan
- New York – WFAN
- Philadelphia – WIP
- Boston – WEEI
- Chicago – 670 The Score
- Dallas – 105.3 The Fan
- San Francisco – 95.7 The Game
- Detroit – 97.1 The Ticket
- Pittsburgh – 93.7 The Fan
For Cleveland listeners, the move gives 92.3 The Fan’s Cavaliers coverage national reach, offering NBA fans wider access to daily discussions, interviews and analysis. WFAN’s addition provides SiriusXM subscribers with an easier way to follow one of the country’s most influential sports talk stations, a key outlet for New York Knicks conversation.
The partnership also reconnects SiriusXM with WFAN nearly 15 years after Chris “Mad Dog” Russo left the New York station to start his satellite radio career in 2008.
Audacy gains coast-to-coast distribution for its local brands, while SiriusXM strengthens a local sports talk lineup that, until now, has been largely limited outside of Mad Dog Sports Radio.
