Former Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala said LeBron James’ reported curiosity about joining the Warriors underscores the expanding stature of Stephen Curry across the NBA.
“When a player of LeBron’s caliber even thinks about Golden State, it shows how great Steph is,” Iguodala said in a recent interview. The four-time NBA champion added that the Warriors’ style of play and Curry’s leadership have become a magnet for top talent.
James remains under contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. No deal involving the Warriors has surfaced, but Iguodala believes the mere possibility highlights Curry’s league-wide appeal.
