Spectrum SportsNet Set For 14th Season Of Lakers Coverage

Spectrum SportsNet Begins 14th Year as Exclusive Lakers Broadcaster

Spectrum SportsNet will return this fall for its 14th consecutive season as the exclusive television home of the Los Angeles Lakers, carrying 73 games during the 2025-26 campaign.

The slate includes all six preseason contests and 67 regular-season matchups. Coverage starts Friday, Oct. 3, when the Lakers face the Phoenix Suns at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs. The network’s first regular-season telecast is set for Sunday, Oct. 26 against the Sacramento Kings.

Los Angeles opens the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 21 versus the Golden State Warriors, a game that will air nationally on NBC and Peacock.

Play-by-play announcer Bill Macdonald enters his 16th season behind the microphone, while analyst Stu Lantz marks his 40th year on Lakers broadcasts. Mike Trudell returns for his 15th season as sideline reporter.

Studio coverage will again be led by hosts Chris McGee and Allie Clifton, joined by Hall of Famer James Worthy and Lakers insider Mike Bresnahan. Former Lakers champions Robert Horry, Derek Fisher and three-time NBA champion Danny Green will contribute analysis, with Green making his studio debut.

The network will continue to air its Emmy-winning Access SportsNet: Lakers pregame show before every broadcast, followed by postgame segments featuring interviews, highlights and breakdowns.
