Posted across the star forward’s social media accounts on July 6, the short clip expresses gratitude to the Bucks organization, teammates and fans for their support during his years in Milwaukee. The montage quickly drew a wave of reactions as supporters thanked Antetokounmpo for his contributions to the franchise.
The NBA approved the deal earlier in the day, formally completing Antetokounmpo’s move to Miami. Details of the trade were not immediately disclosed in the video.
The farewell marks the end of an era in Milwaukee and the beginning of a new chapter for the two-time league MVP in South Florida.
