The Utah Jazz announced on September 22, 2025, that they have signed former Wisconsin big man Steven Crowl to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Crowl, 23, spent five seasons with the Badgers, appearing in 153 college games and averaging 9.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists. The 7-footer now heads to Salt Lake City after Utah first targeted him for the deal on June 26, according to KSTP’s Darren Wolfson.

An Exhibit 10 agreement can be converted into a two-way contract, giving Crowl a chance to secure a longer stay during training camp. If he is waived and then spends at least 60 days with the Jazz’s G League affiliate, he would earn a bonus of up to $85,000.

Utah’s roster is already crowded ahead of free agency. Veterans Svi Mykhailiuk, Johnny Juzang, KJ Martin and Jaden Springer all hold partial or non-guaranteed deals, while Elijah Harkless occupies one of the team’s two-way slots, a spot that can be swapped without affecting the salary cap.
