Landry Shamet Plans to Sign Four-Year Contract With Knicks

Guard Landry Shamet intends to sign a four-year deal with the New York Knicks, according to ESPN sources familiar with the negotiations.
Specific contract figures have not been disclosed. The agreement cannot become official until league rules allow signings to be finalized.
Shamet has spent six seasons in the NBA and most recently played for Washington. The Wichita State product has also logged time with Philadelphia, the Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn and Phoenix.
The Knicks finished 50-32 last season, earning the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference before falling in the second round of the playoffs.
