The Philadelphia 76ers have guaranteed forward Dominick Barlow and wing Dalen Terry for the 2026-27 season while letting Trendon Watford enter unrestricted free agency, according to The Athletic.
Barlow’s option locks in a fully guaranteed $3,415,000 for next year. Terry’s $2,584,539 salary remains non-guaranteed until Jan. 10, and league rules keep him ineligible for trade until July 10.
The club declined Watford’s $2,801,346 option, clearing the way for the 6-foot-8 forward to test the open market this summer.
Player snapshots
Dominick Barlow enjoyed a breakout campaign, starting 59 of 71 games and averaging 7.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 23.8 minutes while shooting 53.9 percent from the field.
Dalen Terry began last season in Chicago, was traded twice, waived by New Orleans in February, and joined Philadelphia on a two-way contract after clearing waivers. The Sixers converted him to a standard deal in April. He appeared in 14 games for Philadelphia, posting 4.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 12.3 minutes per contest.
Trendon Watford, previously with Portland and Brooklyn, saw action in 53 games last season, including seven starts. He averaged 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 16.3 minutes, shooting 51.5 percent overall and 20 percent from three-point range.
The roster decisions leave Philadelphia with two players under option and additional flexibility heading into free agency.
