The Washington Wizards are bringing in former North Carolina guard Seth Trimble on an Exhibit 10 contract after he went undrafted, the Tar Heels men’s basketball program announced Tuesday.

Trimble, who turns 22 in August, spent four seasons at UNC. He came off the bench during his first two years, moved into a part-time starting role as a junior and started every game as a senior. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard sat out early in the 2025-26 campaign with a broken forearm but appeared in 24 contests, averaging 14.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals across 32.5 minutes.

Draft analyst Sam Vecenie of The Athletic rated Trimble No. 71 in this year’s draft class, highlighting his defensive ability while noting his perimeter shooting needs improvement. Trimble converted 29.4 percent of his three-point attempts during his college career.

An Exhibit 10 agreement is a non-guaranteed training-camp contract that can be converted to a two-way deal before the regular season. If a player is waived and spends at least 60 days with the club’s G League affiliate, he is eligible for a bonus of up to $91,000.

Washington has not yet announced its full training-camp roster.
