The New York Knicks have reached another draft-night agreement, moving the No. 31 and No. 55 overall selections in the 2026 NBA Draft to the Houston Rockets, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
In return, New York will receive pick Nos. 39 and 53 in Thursday’s second round, along with the Sacramento Kings’ 2029 second-round choice.
The move continues a busy draft for the Knicks. On the opening night, the club traded down from its original first-round position at No. 24 to No. 47, collecting four second-rounders and cash considerations along the way. The No. 31 pick involved in today’s swap was originally held by the Washington Wizards and was not part of New York’s previous transactions.
No additional details on potential protections or cash considerations in the latest deal were disclosed.
