NEW YORK — Bryce Hopkins declared on Saturday that his time at St. John’s has readied him for the next level, telling reporters he feels “prepared” to make the jump to the NBA and is optimistic about hearing his name called in the 2026 draft.
The forward said the experience he gained with the Red Storm sharpened his skills and boosted his confidence, adding that feedback from league personnel during the pre-draft process has been positive. Hopkins noted he is remaining focused on training as he waits to learn where he will be selected.
The 2026 NBA Draft is scheduled for next week.
