Istanbul, Turkey – September 20, 2025
Fenerbahce announced on Friday that free-agent swingman Talen Horton-Tucker has signed a two-year agreement with the reigning EuroLeague champion, ending his six-season NBA run.
According to earlier reports, Horton-Tucker entered September with a tentative understanding to join the Turkish powerhouse but was granted a 21-day window to secure an NBA offer. With no satisfactory deal materializing, the 24-year-old opted for his first professional move overseas.
Selected 46th overall in the 2019 draft, the Chicago native has appeared in 305 NBA regular-season games, averaging 9.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 19.5 minutes while shooting .427 from the field, .299 from three and .771 at the line.
Horton-Tucker claimed an NBA title as a rookie with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and remained with the club for three seasons before being traded to the Utah Jazz in the 2022 offseason. Unable to land a guaranteed contract in the 2024 free-agency period, he signed an Exhibit 10 deal with his hometown Chicago Bulls last September.
That non-guaranteed contract converted to a standard deal after Horton-Tucker made Chicago’s opening-night roster and survived the league’s January guarantee deadline. He logged 58 games for the Bulls in 2024-25, posting 6.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 12.5 minutes and shooting .457/.336/.735.
Horton-Tucker joins a Fenerbahce roster that already features former NBA players Wade Baldwin IV, Khem Birch, Nicolo Melli and Brandon Boston Jr.
