The Brooklyn Nets have signed free-agent guard Yuri Collins to a standard one-year deal that carries an $85,300 partial guarantee, according to the NBA’s official transactions log dated September 19, 2025.

League sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype that the 24-year-old is expected to be waived before the regular season, mirroring Brooklyn’s recent signings of David Muoka and D’Andre Davis. All three contracts will function like Exhibit 10 agreements for G League purposes, but the partial guarantees will count against the Nets’ salary cap.

Collins, a 6-foot point guard, went undrafted out of Saint Louis University in 2023 and spent the past two seasons with the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors. His usage increased significantly in 2024-25, when he averaged 13.7 points, 10.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals over 49 games (32.2 minutes), shooting .412 from the field, .264 from three and .780 at the foul line. He led the G League in assists at 10.8 per game during the regular season.

Golden State signed Collins to a 10-day contract in February, giving him his NBA debut; he appeared in two games for the Warriors.

Brooklyn plans to funnel Collins, Muoka and Davis to its G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. Brian Lewis of the New York Post reported that Long Island acquired Collins’ returning-player rights earlier this offseason. The partial guarantees could also help Brooklyn reach the league’s minimum salary floor by opening night; the Nets are the only team still operating below the cap.
