The Chicago Bulls hosted University of Houston big man Chris Cenac during a Monday pre-draft workout, according to The Athletic. The 6’11” freshman, rated No. 21 on ESPN’s big board, entered the 2026 NBA Draft after one season with the Cougars.

Five additional prospects joined Cenac in Chicago: Donovan Atwell (Texas Tech), Tobe Awaka (Arizona), Josh Dix (Creighton), Nate Johnson (Kansas State) and Xaivian Lee (Florida). Awaka, slotted No. 49 by ESPN, projects as a potential second-round pick, while the other four are currently viewed as likely undrafted free agents.

The Bulls hold four selections on June 25: Nos. 4, 15, 38 and 56.

Spurs Monitoring Cenac

The San Antonio Spurs, who control picks 20, 35, 42 and 44, are also keeping a close eye on Cenac. ClutchPoints reports the forward could be a serious option for San Antonio at No. 20 if he remains available.

Mavericks Bring In Six Players

In Dallas, the Mavericks welcomed six draft hopefuls on Monday: Sam Alexis (Indiana), DJ Armstrong (UMBC), Quincy Ballard (Mississippi State), Kylan Boswell (Illinois), David Dixon (Duquesne) and Mark Mitchell (Missouri), The Dallas Morning News reported. Dallas owns the ninth and 30th overall picks plus the 48th pick in the second round. Boswell, ranked No. 55 by ESPN, is considered the most likely of the group to hear his name called on draft night.
