The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly evaluating a wide-ranging roster overhaul that extends beyond the future of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to longtime NBA reporter Gery Woelfel.
Woelfel said team officials have discussed trade frameworks that feature both Antetokounmpo and center Myles Turner as part of potential multi-team packages. While the conversations indicate Milwaukee is open to significant movement, there is no sign a deal is close.
The discussions surface as speculation intensifies around Antetokounmpo, whose name has come up in multiple reports suggesting the Bucks are willing to hear offers after a season that ended without a playoff berth for the first time since 2016.
If the organization opts to reset, additional veteran contracts could be moved. Turner, who joined Milwaukee last offseason, is considered a trade candidate, and forward Kyle Kuzma has also been mentioned in league talks.
Milwaukee’s objective in any large-scale shake-up would be to gather future assets, gain salary-cap flexibility and build around a younger core should Antetokounmpo be dealt.
The Bucks have a history of persuading Antetokounmpo to stay through aggressive roster moves aimed at championship contention, leaving many league observers skeptical that a trade will actually happen. Still, the reported willingness to explore broader transactions underscores the possibility of a dramatic summer in Milwaukee.
