NBA Players Set to Mentor 2026 Adidas Eurocamp; Doncic Leads Bid to Relocate Italian Club to Rome

Treviso, Italy — The 2026 Adidas Eurocamp, scheduled for June 5–7, will feature Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner, Los Angeles Clippers guard Bogdan Bogdanovic and Philadelphia 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe as guest mentors for a new class of international prospects. The games and drills will stream live on Adidas’ YouTube channel.
The NBA presence extends to the sideline. Milwaukee Bucks assistants Dave Joerger and Rex Kalamian will help run the camp, along with Sixers coaches Rico Hines and Bryan Gates and Dallas Mavericks assistant Phil Handy. Additional staff members from several NBA teams are expected to participate.
Among the top prospects invited are 6’8″ Oscar Wembanyama, 19-year-old brother of Spurs All-Star Victor Wembanyama; Australian guard/wing Dash Daniels; French forward Meissa Faye; Italian guard David Torresani; and Swann Penda, brother of Orlando draft pick Noah Penda.
Doncic, Nelson Target Rome for Italian Club
Luka Doncic and former Mavericks general manager Donnie Nelson have formed an investment group aiming to move Vanoli Cremona from northern Italy to Rome. The initiative aligns with the NBA’s ongoing effort to launch an NBA Europe league. “Since I came to the NBA, my dream was always to own a team in Europe, especially because Europe gave me so much,” Doncic told The New York Times. “I am the player I am because of Euroleague.”
Osman Powers Panathinaikos Into Greek Finals
Former NBA wing Cedi Osman scored 29 points, including 14 in the third quarter, as Panathinaikos completed a semifinal sweep of PAOK BC to reach the Greek League Finals. Ex-Knicks guard Jerian Grant added 15 points, and Suns forward Nigel Hayes-Davis chipped in 14. Patrick Beverley recorded 14 points and 11 assists for PAOK. Panathinaikos will face Olympiacos for the championship.
Australia Names Key Players for Asian Qualifiers
The Australian men’s national team has begun assembling its roster for the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers. Florida forward Alex Condon, who recently withdrew from the NBA draft, Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Tyrese Proctor and longtime NBL star Bryce Cotton headline the early selections. Cotton, who played in the NBA from 2014 to 2016, has led Australia’s NBL in scoring nine times, claiming six MVP awards and three championships, including two Grand Final MVP honors.
