The NBA has published every ballot cast by the 100 media members who voted on the league’s 2025-26 regular-season awards, according to a press release. The disclosure shows exactly how each reporter and analyst ranked players, coaches and teams across all major categories.
Major Award Winners
Defensive Player of the Year: Victor Wembanyama (Spurs) finished ahead of Chet Holmgren (Thunder) and Ausar Thompson (Pistons).
Clutch Player of the Year: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder) topped Jamal Murray (Nuggets) and Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves).
Sixth Man of the Year: Keldon Johnson (Spurs) led voting over Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Heat) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (Nuggets).
Most Improved Player: Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Hawks) edged Jalen Duren (Pistons) and Deni Avdija (Trail Blazers).
Rookie of the Year: Cooper Flagg (Mavericks) finished first, followed by Kon Knueppel (Hornets) and VJ Edgecombe (Sixers).
Most Valuable Player: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder) earned the honor ahead of Nikola Jokić (Nuggets) and Victor Wembanyama (Spurs).
Coach of the Year: Joe Mazzulla (Celtics) received the most votes, with J.B. Bickerstaff (Pistons) second and Mitch Johnson (Spurs) third.

Ballots for every category, including the All-NBA, All-Defensive and All-Rookie teams, are now available on the league’s website. The NBA noted that other honors issued this spring—Executive of the Year, Teammate of the Year, the Hustle Award and the Sportsmanship Award—were decided through different voting processes and are not part of the public release.
